About InfoCommunity

InfoCommunity is an independent comparison site for email marketing and newsletter tools, written for beginners and small, specific audiences in the United States: Etsy sellers, coaches, authors, musicians, churches and nonprofits. The goal is simple: help you pick a tool that fits your list and your budget, with prices you can check yourself.

Who runs it

I’m Sender Found, the name I publish under, and I run this site on my own. I started it because email tool prices and free plans change every few months, and many of the comparison pages that rank in search are written by the vendors themselves. I wanted pages that say plainly what each tool costs at a given list size, where the numbers come from, and what I have and have not checked myself.

I am not paid by any of the companies I write about to publish these pages, and no vendor reviews or edits them before they go live.

How I research and test

  • Vendor pages first. Prices and plan limits come from each vendor’s pricing page and help center. The date I checked them is shown on every article.
  • Trackers second, and marked. Many vendors show prices only on an interactive slider. When a figure comes from a third-party tracker or could not be read as plain text on the vendor’s page, it carries a dagger (†) so you know to double-check it.
  • My own accounts. I open free accounts with the tools and check what the plan pages, builders and limits actually show. Each confirmed fact is dated, and I add screenshots with personal details hidden.
  • No invented opinions. I do not write fake reviews, testimonials or quotes. When a page summarises what users report, it links to the sources and says it is not a survey.

What I have checked so far

  • MailerLite (November 5 and 6, 2026): free-plan limits, the automatic 14-day trial, automation templates, building a welcome workflow, and a test email that reached a Gmail inbox. Details and screenshots are in MailerLite vs Kit. Its monthly prices were read on MailerLite’s pricing slider on November 6, 2026.
  • Kit (November 6, 2026): the Creator plan price inside a new account. Kit’s free-plan limits are next.
  • Brevo (November 6, 2026): free-plan sending and contact limits, the automation cap on the Free and Starter plans, and prices read on Brevo’s own pricing calculator (including how many contacts each email tier stores). After a phone-number validation, a test email (November 7) reached a Gmail inbox with SPF, DKIM and DMARC passing.
  • Mailchimp (November 6, 2026): the Free plan limits inside a new account (250 contacts, 500 sends a month), the upgrade wall on automation flows and designed templates, and a test email that Mailchimp re-sent from its own address and that reached a Gmail inbox with SPF, DKIM and DMARC passing. Details and screenshots are in Mailchimp pricing in 2026.
  • GetResponse (November 6, 2026): the sign-up and 14-day trial (no card needed), prices on its pricing slider, the one-automation limit on Starter, its warning that a Gmail sender address is “at risk”, and a test email from that Gmail address that landed in spam with DMARC failing. Details are in our Kit alternatives guide.

Mailchimp and beehiiv are not yet tested. Every article says which parts are tested and which come from published information.

Recommendations by fit

I point you to the free or cheaper option when it genuinely suits your situation, even when it pays me nothing. Every comparison includes the catch for each tool, not just its strengths.

How the site makes money

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through them, the vendor may pay a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide the rankings or verdicts. Details are on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Corrections

Prices change and mistakes happen. When I find an error, I fix it and update the page. For example, on November 6, 2026 I corrected the yearly-cost example in our nonprofit guide after Brevo’s help center showed that its cheapest Starter tier stores only 500 contacts.

If you spot something out of date, email senderfound@gmail.com with the page address and the plan name, and I will check it and update the page.
